Nine organizations have received authorization from the Bank of Ghana to act as foreign exchange (FX) brokers.
These companies are Savvy Securities, Terika Financial Services Limited, Black Star Brokerage, CSL Capital, Fenics MD, ICAP African Brokers Limited, Obsidian Acherner, Regulus, and Sarpong Capital.
According to a statement provided to the Ghana News Agency in Accra and signed by Mrs. Sandra Thompson, the Secretary of the Bank of Ghana, the authorization will be in effect from January 1 through December 31, 2023.
According to the statement, the Bank of Ghana reserved the authority to delist any authorized FX broker for failure to comply with the FX Act and the regulations of the Interbank FX Market Conduct.
